Evening all

When I set a heating cycle (say 2 hours) the boiler switches on, the radiators heat up etc but after approx an hour, the boiler switches off. If I leave it for 20mins I can get it to go back on again but the same thing happens.

Anyone any advice?

Thanks in advance! :)

If I remember correctly, these have a basic temperature operated pump over run, all built in the boiler stat.

Could be this needs replacing. Could be going to overheat when boiler turns off.

Thanks for that.

Is there anything that I, will little experience working with boilers(!), could do to check if that is the problem?

Let the boiler/system heat up fully, then turn off heating, or hot water or both at the programmer.

Whilst the rads and pipe work are really hot the pump should continue even though the programmer is off.
