I came back cold and turned the room thermostat up to full. After a while things got hot and there was lots of noise form the hot water storage tank, sounded like air had got into the system but after letting all cool, bled the radiators and no air present. Any idea's? System was reverse flushed and fernoxed last year.

Turned out to be the pump.
 
Soon we will have abundance of gloworms to illuminate dark nights.
