Hi all,
Gloworm Comapct 100e DHW OUT connection to lower of boiler has given way to a bad leak! It is not the lower straight down connection on the elbow, but the higher 90 degree top connection which has a threaded part of the elbow connected to the plate by a form of circlip with a nut fitted to thread?
The leak appears to be at this point.

DHW IN cock has been closed off via lever on it and has stopped the leak at present!

Anyone experienced this one before?
Cannot see via service manual any indication of what seals it holds?

Appreciate any prior experiences/ expected seal info etc.
Regards

Do you mean where the hw diaphragm is housed and the pin comes out to make the microswitch?, this is the normal leak on these.

He says its the DHW out connection onto the plate HE.

I just dismantle and see whats involved. But some DIYers prefer to talk about it first.

Correct!........It is the second elbow along at the back Left to right. Not the lower DHW feed out pipe on this connection but the above connection up into the boiler on the elbow, held to plate by CLIP.
Boiler close to floor, very little access! Anybody had it before?

There should be a minimum of 200 mm below boiler.

If not call back the installer and get him to refit correctly!
