Glowworm Compact 80e - DHW pushrod not releasing when demand not there

Hi

Been having woes with the above boiler. Replaced DHW microswitch same problem, thermister (because? remieded it for a week) and DHW diagphram (old one was pretty distorted) but the boiler still won't disengage the DHW when demand not there. I can solve it by unclipping the DHW microswitch or by giving it a wiggle.

Having removed the microswitch I notice the activation pushrod doesn't retract when the demand ceases. I can push it back in though. It then comes back out when demand present. Microswitch working fine as I can trigger the DHW on and off by inserting a rod into the switch when disengaged.

Any ideas why pushrod not disengaging and what I should then be looking at?

sure you have put it back together correctly after replacing dpram .spring etc

Went back the way it came out, just the diagphram replaced

Silicone grease.

Ok, I feel like a real plum(ber) now Fixed, works a treat!
