Understood . If I can stop it does this mean the pump could be falling when not trying to stop it and the boilor going into f9.
Yes the pump could be what we call weak, and therefore not enough energy to circulate the heat quick enough
 
If your boiler is a sealed system with a EV, note the boiler pressure with the pump off, start the boiler/pump, the pressure should rise by the pump generated head, ie, if the boiler stopped pressure is say 1.0bar and then rises to say 1.3bar then the pump head is 0.3bar/3.0M or whatever.

Boilor set to 1.0 bar. Im not at property now but think it raised to 1.1.

Your Mis should show where the pressure gauge tapping point is, its probably after the boilers heat exchanger so should reflect the residual pressure after the heat exchanger's pressure drop, the MIs should show the HEX's pressure drop at different flowrates for the different boiler models outputs, if you can find this, post it. I don't know if the Glowworm pump has different pump settings like its Vaillant cousin so dont't know if a 0.2bar differential is enough to satisfy the pressure sensor or not, assuming its not blocked with sludge. Again the MIs may show where the pressure sensor is taken from.
 
Yes, can be this too. Unless you can test it and replace it, probably best with a new pump
Yes. I can probably test did it years ago on a tv circuit board but just got new pump. It was the old style Vailliant pump.Save me doing more learning with just getting new pump.

Title: Grundfos UPSO 15-60 AOKR fitted to Flexicom 30CX – is this compatible?

I ordered a replacement pump head from Trade Boiler Parts for my Glow-worm Flexicom 30CX.

The listing was for Glow-worm part 0020014171 / 0020014180 and was advertised as a Grundfos replacement with 4 black bolts. The picture on the listing showed a Grundfos UPSO 15-60 CESA02.

My original pump was a Grundfos VPAL-5/2M, P/N 59866564.

However, the pump they actually sent me is:

Grundfos UPSO 15-60 AOKR
P/N 93534245
230V
3 speed – 70 / 95 / 110W

The engineer has already fitted it before I noticed that the model suffix was different from the one shown in the advert.

Does anyone know if the UPSO 15-60 AOKR is a correct/compatible pump head for a Flexicom 30CX and a replacement for 0020014171?

It appears to fit and is running, but I just want to make sure the hydraulic performance/specification is correct for the boiler and that the different AOKR/CESA02 designation isn't important.
