Thinking about getting a loft conversion with one bedroom and ensuit.
Not sure what style of roof structure this is but it would need the horizontal beams across the top lifted about a foot for headroom and the vertical posts moved back about a foot on each side to widen room. I know I'd need to get a SE to verify but do you think that will be possible?
The joists in what would be the floor are 6"x2" and about 18" apart. Would these be adequate or need reinforced?
