Which is the right way? Neither look right to me now. :?

I always sign cards/letters to my grand children as Grandad.
This has just shown up as a mistake and right clicking shows the alternative way. I think I am right so :P to spell checkers!

Just looked it up in the OED and it seems both spellings are acceptable. Personally I'd always go with grandad, a double d just seems overly fussy.

If they want a relaxing time, listening to stories, playing with dolls, watching childrens tv etc then yes. If they want to roll and fight on the floor, play cowboys/girls and Indians or cooking cakes etc. then they come to grandad.

My Grandchildren address me as 'Sir', as I have clearly instructed them to do.
