Grapes

I was given a grape vine a few years ago.
Last year, we had some grapes, but they were very small, more like currants.
Any tips on growing grapes pleae.

Theres an art to growing grapes, and lots of science behind it, position is everything (no rude comments please) Buy a book on grape growing if your serious and want to do it successfully.

I always believed that grapes need loads of water, but a very poor soil, this encourages them to set seed (fruit) to find a better "home". You just nick them all before they go to seed.

Just realised, thats why the french can grow grapes to make crap wine, they'd be better off using them as ammunition to throw with their rightr hand,,,, while they hold their white flag in the left hand
