Hi folks
i`m have a mare with far cry2 on my home pc and laptop.
toshiba laptop won`t even give it go, it has a inbuilt graphics card thats not big enough can this be changed or a plug in upgrade be fitted
home pc plays the game bit with very poor quality and gives the message GRAPHIC CARD TO OLD PLEASE UPDATE it`s 3 yrs old

Has anybody any advice how to get the game to work on lap top or home pc

You are unlikely to succeed with the laptop. Your only hope might be to look in the bios to find a setting for video memory. Many laptops share the RAM with the video card and some can be changed, I wouldn't expect it to go above 128Mb if you are lucky. Your best bet would be to upgrade the graphics card in your desktop. Can you post details of your PC make and model or motherboard make and model if you can find it. This way we should be able to point you in the direction of a compatible video card.

Like Mark I believe you are unlikely to get your laptop to run this game unless it meets the Minimum requirements:
* CPU:
Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz, Pentium D 2.66 Ghz
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ or better
* Video card:
NVIDIA 6800 or ATIX1650 or better
Shader Model 3 required
256 Mb of graphic memory
* Memory:
1 GB
