Hi my timer as mention in the title is not working, I can get hot water by pushing the booster on but the actual clock/timer is not working (No Tick Tock! lol) anyone have any idea what may be the problem.

Thanks in advance

That's the one.
How long have you had it, it may have passed its sell-by date unfortunately.

I assume you have done the obvious i.e. check all the connections.
Apart from that I think there is very little you can do.

Well my conclusion is that it must be something mechanical in the actual timer because I can turn it manually and it will switch on the water heater. Also previously I could hear the timer ticking away but that is no longer the case.

Could I replace this unit without an electrician seeing as though my electric skill go as far as replace light switches?

Yes, it's pretty easy to replace like-for-like.
When you remove the old unit, you should find that the back plate remains where the wiring goes into. So it's then just a matter of screwing on the front and setting it up according to the instructions.
I have replaced a few but unfortunately not Grasslin, but I doubt that to be any different.

Excellent! thanks very much for your help.
