Gravel boards suggestion?

Hi guys - looking for some advice , got a fear edge fence..done it years ago..I used 7 inch raw timber and bolted them as gravel boards.. as you can see over the years have rotted away need replacing..what do you suggest..fence is about 50ft long..reason the rotted away is cos next door neighbour's garden is higher then ours and is soil..
