i tried bark, i decided the following:
It looks nice and smells nice when new
it shrinks a heck of a lot
you need a sheet under it to stop it being "absobed" by the worms
you need lots of it this year and half as much again next year, and the year after................
borrowed a mates shredder, left it in a pile in the corner, 6 months later its all gone, but where? (no dont answer i dont care)

not of bark, gravel yes, and i still have all of it. (I counted them all
