Just lifted a carpet to lay laminate flooring next weekend, when I found a loose floorboard with CH pipes underneath. There is no sign of any leak but around the soldered copper pipe joins it is very green, see pic.
Can someone tell me if this is likely to become a problem in the next couple of years? Thanks!

Not really anything to worry about, it was the lazy plumber who didn't clean the flux off his fittings after the soldering process. Give them a good hard rub with soap and water on a green scouring pad and lift as much as you can. It's copper sulphide/oxide from the flux reacting with the copper that patinas green after a long time.

Thanks, so don't worry too much but still try to remove as much as possible?
