Glass remains clearer and doesn't deteriorate with ultra violet light....however, polycarbonate is very hard to break!

Hi There! Before you choose either of the two, try considering the type of plants, your greenhouse area and your climate.

Glasses are more efficient when placed in an area that can get enough light. Ideal for vegetables and flowers. Glass cladding is good for humid/tropical climates due to its low insulation capabilities. It is fragile and can easily break compare to Polycarbonate materials.
Polycarbonate sheets has good heating insulation capabilities during winter. They maintain a cool greenhouse for summers. Compared to glasses, polycarbonate sheets are more durable and long lasting. Suitable for vegetable and small fruit production.
