Someone tiled the bathroom of a friend with marble mosaics. Unfortunately, due to lack of experience, he only cleaned the excess (Mapei) grout off the mosaics days if not weeks after applying it.

After hours of cleaning, the mosaics still have a dull look when the bathroom is dry (they look fine when damp...). I have gone through this forum but can't find the exact answer to the problem. Would wire wool eventually do the job and get rid of the haze? Someone mentionned Aquamix products: is there one that would be suitable? Also, would the mosaics require a sealant?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

sounds like you should have selaed them before you even put them on the wall fella, wire wool would only end up making them scratched up and im sure you got enough hassle with out that.

there is a lithofin product called fz conditioning cleaner, should do the job.
