Grout White Residue

I have a tiled shower which is around 7 years old. When I rub my finger along the grout between the tiles, I get a white residue on my finger. I can't decide if this is efflorescence or some problem with the grout.

I clean the shower twice daily with a rubber squeegee and Mr. Muscle shower cleaner.

Visually the shower looks fine, just not sure if what I'm seeing is normal or not.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks.

After grouting a white bloom is left which needs buffing off with a coarse dry cloth, no amount of wet cleaning will shift it. 7 years on you may also have lime scale build up , white vinegar left on wet will remove if it is that.

Thanks for the response.

The fact there's residue on my finger worries me a bit. I'll try cleaning as suggested.
