Just wondering if there is anything to worry about when grouting floor tiles that have quite a rough surface..

Obviously smooth tiles make it easy enough to wipe off excess grout but what's the situation with a rough tile? Is it the same or does care have to be taken not to get the grout on the tile?

Thanks..

it's the same as with the smooth tiles. it's just a lot more difficult to get the access grout off the tiles before it dries. use a very wet cloth and squirt a lot of water onto the access grout and brush with the cloth until it's gone, just be careful to not take out the unintended grout! if the grout you don't want to remove gets soaked in water after it's been placed, it's fine for the while you are cleaning off the access, just soak all extra water out after the access grout is away, before you leave to dry.
