Gully installation

I need to attach a bottle gully at the front of my house to carry washing machine water into the foul drain waste pipe which runs across my property just a couple of feet away. Can anybody suggest the best method for connecting the gully to this existing pipe? I should also mention that the foul drain will be a clay pipe. Any help much appreciated.

You could use a Y branch, or build an inspection chamber, depends what the pipe material is.
