Gurgling bath

Hi,
Freestanding bath is gurgling when the sink tap is emptied. The pipes are not blocked.
Although the noise is slightly annoying, will the gurgling cause any problems in the long run if it is not resolved?

Not really, unless the traps empty completely in which case you'll get a smelly smell. One of the reasons it's better to keep the waste pipes separate to the soil stack.
