guttering pipes

hello everybody, i need some advice on fitting a metric stop end outlet to an imperial downpipe..... my main problem being that the existing downpipe is going down into concrete, so i have to join it somehow or i will be dragging even more work onto myself . thankyou in advance of any help

Perhaps I've missed something, but why do you want a stop-end on a rainwater pipe?

Stop end outlet at the end of the gutter I presume. Have you tried it for size, AFAIK there's little difference with downpipes.

some of the older ones are smaller were never standardised like soil pipe

Surely the outlet or any reducer/connector will be smaller than an imperial downpipe and will just slot into the downpipe?
