H-section shower rail has never run smooth across join

It looks like the two rails are slightly misaligned, can't you just 'manipulate' them a little so they line up?
Failing that can you take a file to the sharp corners and blend them in a bit, probably still feel the join but should stop it snagging
It was fitted carefully last year. It never ran smoothly then. I tried a bit of force for re-aligning at time of fitting.
Will try sanding edges more and may be twisting for re-alignment again.
Twisting did not seem to help last time.
The mix of the plastic track 'joiner' and the aluminium rail seem to make twisting for re-alignment almost completely ineffective. The Al H-section does not seem to budge much, and the plastic joiner does not seem to deform in an expected way. Exasperating.

The top photo shows clearly that the Right hand section does not match up with the left hand section.
Try a bit of packing behind the right section.

Spray area with silicone spray , if you don't have any try furniture polish.
When I say manipulate I mean bend a little.
