Removed a hagar 360 day timer on Friday to replace it with a simple photocell! The timer was originally there to control carpark lighting in a factory, and the lighting was to be turned off after shifts had started/finished etc, and to take account of differing shift patterns and bank hols etc.

It didn't work - too many variables. So a photocell was the order of the day!

The timer has been in for years, and had an additional module connected to two of the terminals - no obvious reason, and the info had long worn from the front of the module.

Disconnected everything, and had a huge belt! The little 'add on module' was a capacitive backup for the memory! Ouch!
