The purpose of this site is to help DIYers - sometimes being harsh to save them from themselves, other times we can point the more knowledgeable and adept in the right direction.

But we who are in the trade or connected with it or even dare I say armchair experts should show professionalism.

If we have a difference of opinion on interpretation of BS7671 we should discuss it like adults and professionals, maybe ( dare I say) come to a good old British compromise or at worst agree to differ without insults and personal attacks


After all we talk of Regs but BS7671 is a British Standard Requirement and as such can be interpretted in many different ways to achieve a safe and relaible installation.
