Newbie, so pls be gentle with me...
i have 3 halogen mains light fittings in my front room, fitted for 3 or 4 years. A few days ago i changed a couple of bulbs on one of them, and it worked fine. Last night this ftting stopped working (all seven bulbs). There was no pop, and the main fuse didnt trip. The other two fittings still work fine.
So today, i've changed all the bulbs (7x 12V 10W capsule bulbs), with no effect. I've take the fitting down-all connections seem secure. And i've unscrewed the wall switch-again all seems well connected. Can anyone give me a clue as to what, if anything i could try now?

Many Thanks
Humph

So looks like i'm gonna need to replace the whole light fitting then!
I may switch the fitting with one of the others- i guess this will tell me if the transformer in this light fitting is the problem.#Thanks#

If the transformer is at a fault, you may be able to replace just the transformer.

Take the transformer to an electrical wholesaler, and see if they can find a replacement.
