Halstead finest, No sparking

Hi
Can anyone help on this problem ?

On CH or DHW demand, the Fan starts, Pump starts, Gas valve opens (orange light on) but no sparking (or sound of it) Tries 3 times then red lockout light flashes.

Does light sometimes, but most of the time doesn't.

sorry but really a CORGI job to check

If it really is not sparking then its not the gas valve but spark generator circuit, spark electrode or APS.

All of these are still CORGI engineer jobs on account of the safety aspects.
