Hi! I've been given an old Hitachi DV 18DMR. Works pretty well. However the markings are rubbed off of the cap. So I can't tell if I've set it to screwdriver, rotation, or hammer.

I've found the manual, which explains what the different positions do, but no pictures or clues I can use to draw the markings back on:

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/67751/Hitachi-Dv-14dmr.html?page=24#manual

I don't suppose anyone has a similar model and could give me an idea of which positions there are?

e.g.
click 1 = 7
click 2 = 14
click 3 = hammer
etc?

I don't do a lot of DIY so would love to just keep using this drill if I can.

Thanks!

hammer will be the very last one under that is drill under that will be the clutch number for screwdriving
in other words if it has numbers top number is max drving then the last two notches are drill and then hammer

It's pretty easy to tell if you're trying to put a screw in on hammer action!
