hand rail coating

I want to install a hand rails on the stairs to my property. The thing is it is in Spain and I was wondering what would be the best coating due to the sun.
I was going to install a wooden hand rail. But what would be the best yacht varnish or a preservative like Sadolin.

I would use oil type such as Tung Oil, doesn't flake or peel
