Never used one, my full bore slotted valve on the shower is playing up could do with a replacement, just thinking ahead and thought rather replace it with a isolation valve with a handle?

They arent gimmicky are they I know there is a full bore and a ball valve for the screwdriver ones? Do you get that with these ?

Just thought in a matter of emergency its easier for the family to turn off the water, never used one though..

If it is easily accessible and the location allows for the open a closing of the lever, they can be very useful and time saving in an emergency, than if a tool is required. One down side is that they are easily isolated, so any practical jokers in the house will find it easy to isolate.

Pegler PB300T tee handle valve. Full bore, around a tenner retail.

If you want speed and ease in an emergency fit a remote Surestop (switch on wall). 50 to 60 nicker retail. Or a direct at 30 nicker (switch on valve).

couldnt find a full bore one with handle, picked up one from toolstation..

And what in the earth is that in the pictures?! Gimmicky blue/pink toy lol

It's a switch operated stopcock. Ha ha.

couldnt find a full bore one with handle, picked up one from toolstation
Isn't that an oxymoron?

Then look at your comment "couldnt find a full bore one with handle, picked up one from toolstation".

You tata, I meant I picked up a handle iso valve from toolstation regardless of it being full bore or not - it didnt say none of the handles ones said anything about the full bore or not where as the slotted screwdriver valves did..comprende?
