Really need some advice please
So, our boiler has just packed in. The issue is that our old boiler is a floor-standing model, and the plumber says the replacement will have to be a wall-mounted one. The only suitable spot for it is currently taken up by kitchen cupboards.
We’d really like to reinstall the cupboards after the new boiler is fitted, but there won’t be enough room in the original layout. My question is: would it be possible to have one of the cupboards slightly overhanging the wall?(approx 200mm) The cupboard sits near an external corner — something like what’s shown in the attached picture (picture from the web.)
I’ve seen that you can get 1-metre-long hanging rails, and I was thinking that if I screwed one securely to the wall, it might bridge the gap and support the cupboard. Do you think that would work?
