Want to hang a 2x1m 20kg solar panel on a brick wall at an angle.
There are kits available but they are designed for flat roofs. May not be strong enough for wall mounting (example photo below).

Would like to know in an aluminium angle rail (photo below) be strong enough? What thickness should it be?
Otherwise, would go for 1mm steel if that is sensible.

Are these second-hand panels, where the manufacturer is no longer in existence so the fitting kit is unobtainable, and no documentation can be found?

The manufacturer q-cells, describes 6 variants of possible mounting of the Q.PEAK DUO BLK-G5.X 315W and clearly states that vertical installation is permitted. They don't offer any bracket system for vertical installation.

If you use the flat-roof design or similar, alter the triangulation so that the upright projects as high as possible above the panel, because it will resist the leverage of weight and wind better.

is that what you mean?
blue is the bracket, black the panel.

Thanks. Could you look into another technical problem, I have.
Building a home gym cable machine.
Below is the side throw.
Can the blue frame be free standing?
Does it have to be attached to a wall?
If it has to be attached, what force will be transferred into the wall assuming the black weight is 50kg.
What is the direction of force?

I should go back to the teacher and say there is not sufficient information to answer the question.

Panel weight 20kg
Size 1.6m x 1.0m
Desired installation angle 45 degrees but can settle for 30 degrees (closer to the wall)
To be installed sideways
Expected winds 30mph, gusts 70mph
Brick wall
Desired height of installation 5m from ground (top of the panel)

Looking for a minimum size aluminium rail.
If 2.5mm rail will do, then I can just buy of the shelf - as above picture.
Not sure if it will do.
