Hi
Swapping out ovens - new one has plug, old one was hardwired off a 13a FCU. Both same rating 2.9KW. Can I just take out the plug and lead from the new oven and wire it up using the exisitng cable (i.e. attach exisitng cable to the terminals on the back of the oven)?
Thanks

Thanks all - I was going down the wiring directly into the oven as FCU is a bit hard to get to (in terms of the wires coming in and out through the back of adjacent cupboard) but changing it seems the way to go.
