Who's got some pics of a neat board using T&E?

My Square D KQ+ board was wired in T&E ;)

If you meant a neat domestic board......

Wow.

Do the cables enter behind the MCB's?

Next time I get to do one I will aspire to that.

I recon he's photoshopped an empty one and drawn on the wires.

RF, you are the don! Did you cut those holes in the back of the C/U? They are not normal MK knockouts are they?

I just use a 1¼" HSS holesaw straight through the CU and the backing board in one go.

P.S. John D this DB has a RCBO for the Cleaners Ring. :D
are the other sockets non-rcd or do they use some form of more local RCD protection?

Yes all the other sockets are non-RCD, even on the downstairs DB

It is like that on all the DBs through out the college. The only sockets that are RCD protected are the Cleaners sockets in some of the buildings. Some of the buildings still have the old cartridge fuses (The old style cartridge fuse holders), & the DBs, which the old style cartridge fuses are in have asparos.

I wouldn't call it neat!

Why wouldn't you call it neat :?:

Because it clearly isn't!

ll cables need to be cut to exactly the same length, formed in a mirror image left to right, all bends to be 90deg or 180deg.......it just isn't very neat.

Lec would have a heart attack if he ever saw my CU

(not my work though, if I ever end up replacing it I'll get it neat)

EDIT: PS, lec, is the ATT router still throwing a wobby? :(

I like to see new installs / retros lok neat - no excuse for them not to!

Router is on order - will be installed soon. As it stands the router keeps crashing, and the forum vanishes for a while at times as no one is near the router to reboot.
