My son has given me his old C. Synergie ..but for a few months before he gave it to me it had a 'sticking clutch' cable ...which has become a poor clutch with engine over-revving ....I read an article on this website forum ..dated 2007 .. in which 'sticking clutch' syndrome on the synergie was mentioned and remedied by fitting a new cable. ... Could it be it will also fix the over-revving ...thereby meaning I don't need a new clutch fitted after all....just a cable.
Has Citreon Synergie clutch gone or is it the clutch cable?
