Haye vs Chisora

Ok lets turn this round a bit, what do you think his next step would be and who would you think would be a good opponent for his next fight?

His next step is back to the drawing board. His fighting style did leave him wide open last night. He should be working off his jab and moving, but that's another story.

You can't write such a talent off at such a young age. He is a great fighter with faults. He can improve on these and i'm sure he will. With a new coach perhaps?

Bare in mind it will have to be against a decent fighter to try and gain some credibility back!

That's absolute nonsense. Putting him in the ring with 'decent fighter' at this stage would be stupid. He's got a lot of work to do and I feel it will be a while before he's ready for that type of fight.

Some of the best boxers do get beat and do come back stronger. (exceptions Floyd Mayweather jr, Joe Calzaghe, Rocky Marciano etc)

I am happy to be proved wrong on this. I will hold my hands up if he does come back with style, but I can't see it. You are right in what you say with regards to going back to the drawing board in regards to his style, but I can not over look the fact that he simply can not take a decent punch. If he wants his career to improve then he will have to prove himself against decent opponents. It's just not worth while going backwards as the money will not be there. Stepping up to welterweight and fighting a man that he has beaten before for a title would be the best option in my eyes, but then again I'm no boxing promoter or manager!

i'm saying that a quality trainer will be able to tweak Khan to become a killing machine...

What I am saying is that he has Freddy roach as his trainer now. Look at what success he has achieved with Manny pacquiao! He is a world class trainer with a record to prove it.

but there's more than just being a big named trainer... you gotta connect with your boxer.... It's a bit like Fabio Copello, he was ****e with England, yet the Ruskies are paying him millions to sort them out !!! it's horses for courses !!
