It's a real shame when these well known entertainers go. Whether you liked Max's music/comedy or not, he was just always around. My grandfather loved listening to Maxi so I was brought up on Sing-alongs and Ling-alongs. Although I wouldn't dream of listening to a Max Bygraves record now, I can't feeling that part of my childhood has gone forever.
