I'm looking for help and suggestions on a recent problem. We've just moved into a new house so am not overly familiar with it yet.
Last week we had a leak from one of the toilets. That's ok now, we habe it isolated and as we plan to replace it soon are happy to leave it out of use for now.
Since then the header tank has kept slowly filling with cold water. I know exactly where it's going - one of the other toilets. It keeps overfilling and running into the bowl. I thought the flush in that toilet just needed adjusting so have tried that and no matter what level I set it at, it keeps over filling.
I've read a few posts about header tanks and most suggest constant filling is either hot water tank or a leak. I checked the water in the tank and it's really cold so I don't think it's the hot water and I don't think it's a leak as I know it's running into the toilet.
Does anyone have any ideas? I would really like some help with this one.
