Hi can you help. boiler fireing up stays lit for about 10 seconds then goes to gas lock out. any ideas whats going wrong? Its a heat line capriz 28.

Make sure the condensate discharge pipe is not blocked, also make sure the discharge pipe has a continious fall going away from the boiler, including the flexible pipe below it. Some of the earlier capriz boilers needed a modification to be fitted to the condensate trap. If the discharge pipe is fitted correctly and the boiler is still under warranty (2 years) than call Heatline and get them to send someone out to have a look it. Tel 0870 6092091, common fault on these condensing boilers.
