Hello all,
as per previous post - 6.9Kw ceramic hob!!!
Why run 6 or 10mm cable from CU on radial to outlet plate and then have (as far as my local electrical supplier goes) only have the choice of maximum 2.5mm 25 amp heat resistant flex to make the connection to the hob????????? My local supplier only sells 2.5mm and below in heat resistant and I'm a bit worried about making final connection to the hob (from outlet plate) in this as everything else is much bigger.
Thanks for anything posted - except derogatory of course!!!!!
Crafty where are you????????? ;)

My wholesaler has upto 4mm butyl as standard, and can get 6mm and 10mm next day.

Actually has some short 10mm bits in stock.....and I use from time to time to repair the inards of showers...

Seems like I should try another supplier.
Thanks. :D

Try a wilts wholesaler......my Barnstaple branch is the best for cable...

You need to state butyle/heat resist, or they will try to give you SY (a huge stocked item).
