Hi all,
Just a quick one. I'm having New Years eve at my place this year and I'm setting up a marquee type temporary construction at the rear of my property as an overspill area. This will be a floor space of 5 x 7 meters approximately and at around 2-3 metres high. So we're looking at a space of around 100 cubic meters.

Now, as you know, the 31st December isn't the warmest time of the year hence I will need to heat the interior appropriately.

The two choices I've seen are a powerful electric fan heater (3KW) or a small propane heater (10KW). Obviously the propane heater option will require sufficient ventilation to prevent oxygen shortage.

My question is really - can anybody recommend what to go for?

Will a 3Kw electric device be enough to keep the space sufficiently warm at that time of year? - or is the propane option the only way to go?

Don't know the best option but fire prevention and fire escape need serious consideration.

A marquee recently caught fire (arson) and a lot of people were killed.
