Indeed - any internal protection has to have the appropriate breaking capability and limitation of let-through energy.
So a manufacturer fits that 10A fuse which you feel it's his duty to provide internally to his equipment. What breaking capacity must it be in order that it doesn't "superimpose" some requirement on the design of the installation supplying power to it?
