Heating wont switch off

We have a Worcester Combi Boiler heatslave 15/19 which suddenly won't go off inspite of having switched off the control in the house AND the select switch/button on the boiler itself. All the heating in the house is constantly on !! This is our second winter in a fairly modern house and it has worked fine up until now.

i seem to remember having this problem before and it was the motorized valve it had a permanent live that kept the boiler running due to a faulty valve.

the only way to turn it off was to turn off on the wall, easy repair swapping the head and re wiring it .

I had this problem on a Heatslave a couple of weeks ago, you can a cartridge to replace in the diverter valve for less than £10...

If it still works when all the heating demand controls are in the off position then it sounds as if there is a false demand for hot water being registered.

DHW demand switch would be the first suspect.

If the boiler is in your garage or outhouse you may have a faulty frost stat
