Heating Works But No Hot Water

I have a baxi combo boiler and a Siebe Control Panel. The heating works fine but in the last few days I have no hot water. When I set the control panel to Hot Water only, the red light comes on but the boiler doesn't fire up. What is the problem and how much will it cost to rectify?

well its not a combi boiler then or combo as you call it

if the boiler is providing heating ok i would start looking elsewhere for problems starting with the cylinder thermostat or maybe the hot water 2 port valve if you have one
