Guys

When Heatline changed the Solaris DHW output about 18 months ago, they up rated the 24Kw to a 30Kw and 30Kw to 35Kw. I was given to understand Heatline changed the gas restrictor & plate heat exchanger only, is this correct?

or did theyalso make changes to the Gianonni Heat ex, is it the same size heat exchanger for both the 24 (30kw) and 30 (35kw) boilers.

Thanks

well it takes some very complex engineering but it boils down to...

they only changed the name  the solaris 24pc is in fact and always has been a 30kw boiler. the solaris 30pc is in fact and always has been a 35kw boiler.

some genius name them like that because that is what each boiler is capped at for CH but on dhw is full ranged up to max burn. in their wisdom they renamed them the solaris 30 & 35 to reflex the dhw side and not the ch side...

the tech specs may help you

now think of all them lucky people that was thinking they where only getting a 24kw boiler but in fact got a 30kw one

Hi Mehran

Thanks for your reply.

Is that the current spec sheet or prior to the changes?
