Heatslave 20/25 diverter valve problem.

Hi all
Gotta worcester heatslave 20/25 with a honeywell Vc4613 diversion valve.
Lever up cartridge type
Not too sure what's up but heating only come on when I turn up hot. water
Port a on valve goes to heatslave hot water tank and. Port B goes to heating circuit.
AB from the boiler.
Seems very odd to me.
Or have I installed the valve e wrong way round?

Consult the manufacturer's instruction easily available on line. This valve differs from many.
