Hi all

I have moved into a property and was horrified to find a 30cm hole straight through the wall behind my bedroom door into the cupboard space, How do I fill such a hole? Do I need to bond the existing concrete first? And place something on the one side to act as a barrier?

Thanks for any ideas I'm new to all this.

:)

What's the hole for?

30cm isn't really that much unless it's in a particularly structural area such as next to a corner or right under a joist.

Has the hole been lined with plasterboard or is it still bare brick?

I have no idea why it's there, but it is straight through the wall and the the wall is actually solid concrete no brick at all just concrete.
