help fitting a wireless thermostat commbi boiler

can any one help I have a vaillant ecotech pro 28 and I am trying to fit a salus st620 wireless stat - do I need to disconnect wired stat and fit a bridge wire as when fitting wireless receiver to combi boiler it all powers up but heating won,t turn on with thermostat thanks for any help

you need to disconnect the old hard wired one, and the two switch wires should be replaced with the new two switch wires on the wireless stat

Wireless one slots on front of boiler so no wires to connect think i need to bridge where the old wired one was
