Looking for a smarter way to manage your heating this winter? We’ve been testing the new Aqara Radiator Thermostat W600 to see how quiet, accurate and easy it is to use around the home. Click here read our review.
I want to re-pressurise the system but the head on two flat head screws that I would turn has crumbled and I now need to replace.
What please is the part (I believe it’s a filling valve)?
Also are the easy to remove and replace? Any guides on how to. Many thanks
Just looking at the pics shows that this boiler is old, bas above - best leave it alone and fit an external filling loop and likely gonna cost far less.
Put T's on the 2 pipes and add one of these.
agree external filling loop is your best bet, you wont need a guage if below the boiler, but get one with two levers one at either end, and not one with the screwhead valves (ballofix) or you will end up back at the same situation eventually
