Hi,

I’m going to be installing a Pyronix in the next couple weeks and want to get my head around the wiring before hand.

I have the following to be wired back to the main unit but need to know how many wires feed each one ( example- is it just a positive and negative ?)
- Bell
- Interal Sound
- 3 x Pirs

I have attached some pictures of the installation kid (please go easy on me as this is my first ever doing this)

From picture 1:
Interal sound - goes into aux and spk?
Bell outside - not sure how many wires feed this but +/- at the botom and bell trigger ?

Next is picture 2 for the 3x Pirs
Would I be right in saying this could be connected to Z2/Z3/Z7?

Or does input 1 (Z2) have to be a door contact?

Look forward to hearing some replies

You need to take a single 6core or 8 core alarm cable from the main control panel to each device ( pir )
Cable to keypad,bell box etc

I have 6 core cable.

Id like to know what how many wires go to where inside the main panel,

6 for double pole / 4 for eol ( end of line )
2 will be power +\-
2 will be alarm
2 will be tamper ( if double pole) you will have to wire in series

5 cores required for the bell box ( one spare )

All PIR’s will have 6 wires?
And alarm box will have 5?

Where would this wires go in relation to the main control box which inputs?

How do i know if i need double pole or end of line?

How are you wiring EOL or double pole ?
Z1 & Com for first device pir
Z2 & Com for second pir and so on

Im not sure, like I said never done this before so I am not aware of the terminology of double pole or EOL?

Z2 doesnt have a com, it has z2 +/-?

Z1 & Z2 share the same com as do Z3 & Z4
The + & - are the Aux power connects for the pir
Suggest you read up on this or you could make it hard work ?

Thanks,

Looked at double pole and eol, will most likely do double pole option,

So if im correct, all three pirs can go into the same aux +/- and then each pir will be z1/2/3?

Yes
Zone 1 will be used for the global tamper circuit if using double pole.
The control panel does come with the resistors for EOL

ok, slowly getting there.

Would that mean only 1 Pir will be on the tamper circuit? Because that would be Z1?

Ive opened the keypad, pir, internal sound and non the wiser lol.

No
When wiring double pole your alarm pair from each pir will go on z2 for pir 1(hallway) and z3 (lounge) etc.
If you wire with EOL then pir 1(hallway) will go on z1.
What pir sensors do you have ?
Mite be easier to wire EOL if you are confused at this stage.
The wiring diagram show you how to EOL each detector

Why have you chosen the Euro mini as your control if you are none the wiser ?

Because I was recommending its a good system, All I really need to know is what wire goes where lol. Then I can just wire it up.

Interal sound

T, T, BA, SPK, 12v +/-

PIR

T,T,N,C, +,-

Bell

T,T, Eng Hold, Stb, Bell, +,-

Keypad

Prg, z2,z1, +,- d4,d3,d2,d1

And the connections of the main box where it goes back to are on the pictures I attached,

I just need some help as what goes where as Im fairly confident I can wire it up if I know this, this is a diy forum after all.
