Help! ive just painted walls with gloss and not matt

Hello! i've just painting a bedroom with dulux gloss paint and realised its not matt! what can i do? any help? i'm worried i've just turned a small job into a huge one!

or wait till dry and paint over it.
 
Only came here cause this gave me a laugh ( a good hoot , sorry .)
But can you take the shine off with a bit of wet and dry ?
What did you do ?

Sorry mate, but it's gonna be hard painting the matte over the fresh coat of gloss.

Use an oil-based overcoat first, then paint over with matte - haven't tried it before just so you know, but it seems pretty logical :)

Don't worry, we've all had DIY disasters before, I nearly hammered away a huge wall in to my wall. Could be worst disasters ;)
 
I did the same thing with silk and did an entire wall before I realised it was drying to a nice sheen - which is not what I wanted. :eek:
I just abraded it with a sander and it covered ok with matt. Not sure that would work with gloss though.
 
A mate painted gloss onto his back bedroom ceiling.

He no longer needed an outside light, to light up his garden :mrgreen:
