I bought some flatpack furniture, unfortunately like a proper knob I chipped a bit and need to fill it. Its real oak veneer so I’m think of mixing some wood glue with some oak wood shavings, what ratio of glue to shavings should I be using 50/50, 30/70 etc Probably need a total of a pea sized blob! Thanks. :D

Would you be able to cut some of the veneer out, and then piece in a bit of new veneer or some iron on edging tape, and then just blend it in with your PVA and sawdust?

You'd probably have to find a bit to match the grain though

With glue though, I'd use more sawdust than glue

Well its a chip/scrape on an edge about 15mm long and 4mm deep in the middle so will go the filler route I think, thanks. :)
